We was staying the night close by and we are from Waldo OHIO which is why we picked this place. Absolutely the best wings I have ever had. The Pittsburgh Burger with the STEELERS was also awesome. Highly recommend going to Waldo's Wings.
1st timer here. Lemon pepper dry rub is SOOO good! Cooked to perfection, great flavor... ranch is spot on and let's take a second to talk about some of the best waffle fries I've ever eaten. Each one was the perfect amount of crisp, cooked to perfection! Couldn't ask for anything more here, will be back!
The Waldo's Classic Burger is absolutely delicious! A very fulfilling meal. They offer, home made potato chips, waffle fries, and potato wedges. I highly recommend going there. Nice atmosphere,great staff! Flat screens everywhere!! Daily specials at the bar.. Go & have yourself a good time with great food & friends. Ask for Jeffery!! The best ever!!
The food is consistently great tasting and fresh. I feel like the fry portion is a little small but it’s not that bothersome to me. Sometimes I have to wait longer than I expect for a refill. Otherwise, I have nothing but compliments. Wing night is a great night to go.
Waldo’s Wings is my favorite local wing spot. This place has been a staple in Winston-Salem since I was just a kid. Now, thirty years later, I am still going back here, to get my wing and Hot Chip fix! In my 30 years of dining here, I have honestly not tried much of the menu. I am a bone-in-wings kind of guy, so I always go for that. Occasionally, I will get their cheesesteak, which is pretty decent. I always go for the “house” hot sauce, which has a great kick and flavor. You can get the house sauce in mild, medium, hot, and extra hot. I personally love the “hot” as it is an excellent spice mix and has a good peppery flavor. Waldo’s Wings is my go-to Wing Spot in Winston-Salem, NC and it should be yours as well!
Wow. This is a cool hole in the wall spot for lunch. I ordered the deep fried green beans and some wings. The deep fried green beans were good and they had a great taste. The dipping sauce was on point and complimented the green bean's heavy breading. Now on to the wings. I ordered the hot wings. Sweet, baby Jesus..... They were hot. Do not be fooled. I love spicy, but the wings were spicy today and I garuntee they will be spicy tomorrow. (You know what I mean.) for being that spicy, they still had good flavor. I will be back.
I love this place. The weekly wing deals are amazing, and the wings are off the chain! I really love their burgers and quesadillas too. My faves are the “rub me down burger” and “the dash burger”. Great atmosphere and always great service. A nice spot for lunch and dinner! I have been back many times.
First off i would like to start by saying the employees were over the top super nice the first day that i are here.CRAAAZZZIII STORIII I initially intended on eating at wingstop but upon arrival i noticed a note on the door. Basically the wingstop employees were boycotting because they hadn't gotten paid. So i went to waldos. I was so indecisive which is nothing beyond the norm, but the cashier was super patient, suggestive, and sweet. She even gave me a free buttered toast. I ordered the mild lemon pepper wings EXTRA CRISPY ALL FLATS with the potato wedges. Y'ALL!!! THOSE WINGS were so frigging fkn good!!! I ate them down to the bone, not a morsel insight and i haven't been eating wings like that lately. KISSES TO DA CHEF!!! But those wedges awww man i haven't had wedges like that since kfc 2006. And the seasoning for the wedges, omg put me some in a cup buttercup. But yea they were so impressive and impressionable that i went back the next day which was on a Thursday(89 cent wing day) and was not disappointed!!! I got the same flavor wings. O and the sweet thai chili wings are also amazing!!!! MUST TRY
